Pretty Flowers In a Vase (didn't know how to spell bouqet. i think there should be a u)

Making Wishes

And of course to end the night...blowing out the four candles. Couldn't put all the candles on so she decided on four. I actually lit a match and fired up the candles. It used to be a big fear of mine.

Sweat outfit

So funny story about the sweats. Dad had already bought sweats for JCPennies and they went shopping later on and mom pointed out different sweats that she liked and not the ones dad had already bought so we went back to the store and exchanged them for the green ones. After all she liked the ones Dad had bought earlier. This happened at christmas time with three different boots that mom liked. She also got a matching green workout shirt! Cute!!!

More Presents!!!!

Mom reading probably her favorite card ever because of Carson's drawing. Very cute card britt!!

Mom admiring at the coolest present ever. Ok not really but not bad at all. Kimbo and i gave mom slippers that we stole from dad that looked like you would be walking on clouds. That's how amazing they were. Every present Dad asked if it was the present we were giving her because he had no idea since we wrapped them and didnt officially claim our present. I guess we could've claimed the more expensive one.

Wrapping Paper

So pretty much this was pretty cool textured wrapping paper. We thought they put it through a crimper. Dad wanted to save it and so he used it as a blanket. Silly Daddy.

Random Birthday Pictures

So the story on this is i ran out of wrapping paper and i thought it was going to cover the box so i kept wrapping. And then i realized there was part of the red box showing on the bottom. Kimbo made fun of it and asked if we were rednecks and go the tacky way. But i didnt think much of it because you arent supposed to look on the bottom of the present.

Kimbo texting all bundled up like a cacoon.

Opening Presents

Mom opening her first gift. She had no idea what was inside it.

So this box has a very good memory attached to it. Two christmases ago i think it was Grandma and Grandpa Glover came and my parents gave Grandpa a backup thing (i think) for computer and he loved it so much he didnt even let go of it for pretty much the rest of the day. We had to tell him to set it down to open different gifts.

Dad explaining the gift he gave her. The box had the empty tulip seed packages which he had already planted so maybe...if we are lucky...will have tulips this year and not just green.

Before and After

One...Kimbo is washing some dishes so we wouldnt have so many after dinner. We realized that he makes a lot of dished when he cooks.
Two...Kimbo i guess is trying to water herself to help her grow. Not sure but i don't think it is going to work. Just a guess.
Three...Dad letting all the food settle in before having cake like two hours later. We had so much food but all way good.

Mom's Delicious Raspberry Cake with Chocolate Shavings on top!!!!!

The finishing looks of the so yummy cake. Looks beautiful. I just wanted to eat it right then.

Mom's Birthday Cake

Dad putting the frosting on the cake. Really intense job.

After whipping the raspberry frosting, Dad smoothed it onto the cake. I said skip dinner and just have dessert.

Does this remind you (as in you i mean britt and kimbo) of good times with mint chocolate ganash cake?! This raspberry cake isn't sliding as much as the ganash cake...thank goodness. There goes the "presentation" and dad would not like that.
